The good news for Linux User, Apple Swift Programming has become to OpenSource. This may not be a surprise to Linux users, because Apple has announced it seven months ago.
Apple announced the launch of the Open Source Community Swift this week. a new web site dedicated to the open source community swift. The contents of the message as follows:
We are excited by this new chapter in the story of Swift. After Apple unveiled the Swift programming language, it quickly became one of the fastest growing languages in history. Swift makes it easy to write software that is incredibly fast and safe by design. Now that Swift is open source, you can help make the best general purpose programming language available everywhere.
swift.org will work as a one stop shop that provides downloads for various platforms, community guidelines, news, getting started tutorials, instructions to contribute to open source Swift, documentation, and other guidelines. If you are ready to learn swift, you should bookmark this site.
At this announcement, a new manager package for easy sharing and building code has been available as well.
Last but not least of all for Linux users, the source code is now available on Github. You can check it out from the link below:

And apple has provide for Ubuntu 14.04 and 15.10, you can download via this link:

Do not rush to use it because it is the branch of development and will not be suitable for production machines.
